Again With The Teeth

After we finally got rid of the ear infection now Annah's getting more teeth that are causing her irritation. Obviously the universe is plotting against us and has made the prospect of a good night sleep little more than a fleeting notion. Hopefully at some point in the future all the planets will align, the teeth will be in, infections will be kept and bay and we can all sleep - glorious sleep.

Clean Bill of Health

Annah's checkup went really well today, her ear infection is gone and she's put on a pound - overall she is the picture of health.

This was Annah this morning as we were listening to our morning podcasts and getting ready for the day.

Here she is shopping at Sam's Club last night. It's getting kind of tricky trying to find a place to put the bread. I used to put it in the child seat so it would get smooshed but now Annah is there and she's always looking for something to smoosh.

Now Annah sits in the cart like a regular kid and not in her car seat. Oh she is such a big girl.

Annah's Weight

Everyone from the doctor to her mother seem to have an opinion on Annah's weight these days. Well the fact of the matter is there are a lot of women who would kill to have a figure like this:-)

Seems to be getting healthier

Annah seemed to be on the mend today and her ears didn't seem to be bothering her as much. She got a good night sleep took a few good naps and is looking a lot better. We're hoping she can finally shake this ear infection.

Annah isn't feeling well, her ears are bothering her, she's got a little fever and is congested. All and all she feels sick and isn't her normal cheerful self.

Mischievous Look

Annah like her sister is a master of deceit and manipulation. Here she is reaching for the mouse while showing and expression of someone trying to be expressionless - as if her eyes are trying to convey, "nothing to see here... You probably don't even need to be watching me." All the while her hand inches closer to the mouse. Sneaky? Perhaps. But like her sister I can see through all her mischievous ways.

Annah and I have been closely following all the Mac tech news coming out of Mac World in San Francisco. I'm thinking we should invest in a wireless mouse.

Forced Eating

According to the doctor Annah needs to eat more solids but there is one problem, she doesn't really like eating solids. So now a couple times a day we have Zaheeda armed with a spoon and Gerbers baby food and Annah in the high chair - Zaheeda insisting she eat, Annah determined to do anything but eat. It's actually pretty entertaining to watch, like the imovable object verses the irreistable force - something has to give.

Ear Infection... Still

Annah had her nine month checkup this morning and she still has an ear infection. We are trying one more treatment of antibiotics and if that doesn't work they want to put tubes in her ears. She is also only 5% on the weight chart so she needs to start eating more as well. Her next check up is in a month, so until then it is going to be all antibiotics and eating for Annah.
