Maya and Annah

Maya was eating a muffin in front of Annah this morning and we could tell Annah was really pining for a bite, even though it's hard to bite anything when you don't have any teeth. Maya ate the whole thing and kind of made a mess in the process, leaving crumbs all over her face and shirt. I think some deep seeded animosity towards Maya could be building within Annah.

First Shots

Yesterday Annah had a doctor's appointment and got her first set of shots. She is now 23" long and weighs 9 lbs 9oz. According to the chart she is doing really well on the height but she needs to gain more weight - or she can start pursing a career as a leggy supermodel. We'll probably start feeding her more because we'd hate for her to become a leggy supermodel... If she were to turn into Tyra Banks... Well.... We'd never be able to forgive ourselves.

Remote Controll

Yesterday we (or more specifically Maya) lost the remote. The thing is we (or more specifically Maya) lose the remote every day making the search for the remote control pretty much a normal part of our every day routine. Well after we (or more specifically Maya) lost the remote yesterday we decided to call off our search after about an hour and Maya and I ran to Walgreens to buy a new one. In a plan to reduce the losing of the remote we bought a giant remote control that is almost the size of Annah - the thinking being that so far we have yet to lose Annah and maybe if the remote is equal in size we wont misplace it either.

We need Brown Grandma back

We're really missing Brown Grandma. This has been the first week that we've had to take care of Annah all by ourselves and it has been a bit of a job. (Note: This accounts for my failure to update the sites all week) Annah likes to be held every waking moment of the day and if she is not held while sleeping she will wake up which means she needs to be held - you can see how this can be a cause of fatigue after a while.

Here she is giving one of her, "how dare you set me down looks." It's been a long week.
