Walk

This afternoon we headed out for a walk with Mom.  It was a beautiful day, Annah got to ride in her new wagon and throw rocks in the river.

Where we went:

Walk to the bank

Since we had no power in the house today and Annah couldn't watch Elmo we decided to head out on a walk to the bank. Annah was in good spirits and enjoyed the fresh air.

New Walgreens

On our walk the other day we stopped by to see what kind of progress they are making on the new Walgreens in Highland. Walgreens happens to be Annah's Brown Grandma's favorite store, so we expect once it's completed we'll be getting more frequent visits.

Phoning Home

Over lunchtime Annah and I headed to the bank and along the way she decided she wanted to check in with Zaheeda and see how the kids were doing.

We went out to for a walk and then headed over to meet Maya at the bus stop. Oh it was a nice day and The Pudy was happy to get out of the house.

Was out for a walk with the Pudy today at lunch to enjoy the snow.

Our cold snap finally broke and that meant I could get out for a walk with The Pudy. We walked around the block a few times and met Maya at the bus stop. It was nice to finally get some fresh air.

Winter Walk

Had a nice warm day in the 20's Friday so I set out for a lunch walk with Pudy. She had a hard time keeping herself from fussing with her gloves - it's hard to pick up Cheerios with gloves on.

Headed out on a walk to the bank this afternoon and oh was it ever a nice day.


On the way back we stopped on the bridge and watched the trains. The noise initially freaked Annah out a bit, but she eventually got used to it.


After the train left, we left.

Annah being uncooperative

Tried taking Annah for a walk yesterday but she wasn't behaving. Here she is repeatedly throwing her Banana Dog out of the stroller. When we got home I asked her if I should tell mom how she misbehaved and she said, "No..."

Tuesday afternoon walk

Headed out for and afternoon walk with The Pudy. Since she refused to take her nap (note previous post with her and her pear)I decided we'd head out and get a little fresh air and enjoy the leaves. You can tell she is pretty tired.


A couple blocks from the house, underneath a bench next to the bike path we came across Maya's stray cat friend. This nameless vagrant cat is always hanging around the house and hunting for squirels in the backyard. We don't know his name and haven't given him one because - well, quite frankly we're not that attached to him - but The Pudy was pretty excited to see him again!




After about thirty minutes of walking The Pudy drifted off to sleep. I like this picture because right before I snapped it that leaf fell and landed right on her lap.


We walked to the bus stop and waited for Maya to get dropped off. I was worried all the commotion with the bus would wake her but that wasn't the case.

After returning home I put her on our bed and she slept for about another two hours.

Back in the Stroller

Annah getting antsy in the stroller. She likes to go for walks but feels she needs to be occupied and entertained the entire time. Now that it's fall she enjoys finding fancy leaves. She becoming more and more like Maya every day.

Cold Walk

Went for our walk yesterday and the wind was cold!!! When we set out the sun was shining and all was rather pleasant, but after about ten minutes it turned ugly. Annah doesn't remember cold weather so this is all new to her. On the upside she is really enjoying her new fall and winter wardrobe which looks amazingly similar to Maya's old fall and winter wardrobe.

Getting May from School

Yesterday we had to walk to Lunds to pick up a few things and thought it would be a good idea to stop by the school and have Maya walk home with us.

Walk to the bank

Pudy and I walked to the bank this afternoon and it was hot!
