Sliding at Horace Mann

Thursday Annah and I rode to Horace Mann to meet up with Maya after school. While waiting for Maya's school day to end Annah took to trying out the slides on the playground.

Playing on the swings

Took the girls for a walk to the library playground this afternoon so Annah could go on the swings. Truth is Zaheeda was trying to clean the house and both Maya and Annah we being counterproductive to that effort, so the best solution was to get them out of the house. Annah had fun and I'm not sure, but even Maya seems to still like the playground.

Monkey bars

After yesterdays run-in with that steep and terrifying slide Annah has developed a slight case of "slideophobia" - you can't get her on any slide now. Fortunately this fear does not extend to the monkey bars.

Here's Annah playing on the slide at Minnehaha Park yesterday. She loves the slide but doesn't like the swings...

Back at the Playground

After stopping at the library Maya and Annah were back at the playground having all kinds of fun. Annah goes down all the slides all by herself, it's a thrill and exhilaration that even rivals falling off the dining room table.

After going to the library this afternoon we stopped and played at the playground for a little bit. Annah went on all the slides.
